Sightseeing in Vienna

Vienna continues to attract visitors with its many great historical sightseeing opportunities, its fabled collections of art, glittering palaces, and exceptional musical heritage that’s still carried on in concert halls and one of the world’s great opera houses.

Day 01 Welcome to Vienna

  • Arrival in “Vienna International Airport”

Day 02  Vienna Historical City Tour

1– The Hofburg Palace

The official residence of every Austrian ruler since 1275 – the Hofburg is perhaps the most historically significant of Vienna’s palaces. Its main attractions are the Imperial Apartments, the Sisi Museum, and the Silver Collection, while other notable sites within the comple include the Imperial Chapel and the Hofburg Treasury.

2– The Upper Belvedere Palace

Belvedere Palace is really two splendid Among Vienna’s most popular attractions, Baroque buildings: worth seeing is the Marble Hall, a stunning two-story hall with numerous period sculptures, paintings, and ceiling frescoes. The Österreichische Galleries Belvedere is an art museum in the Belvedere Palace, known for its extensive collections, including a rich array of sculptures and panel paintings from the 12th to the 16th centuries.

3– St. Stephen’s Cathedral

St. Stephen’s Cathedral (Stephenson) is not only the main Roman Catholic church in Vienna — and the seat of the city’s Archbishop — it’s also one of Austria’s most popular attractions, welcoming more than a million guests each year. It’s the city’s most important  represents eight centuries of architectural history. Vienna’s most important Gothic edifice and the cathedral church of the archbishopric since 1722, St. Stephen’s Cathedral (Stephenson) sits in the historic center of Vienna. The original 12th-century  Romanesque church was replaced by a Late Romanesque one in the 13th century, the remains of which are the massive gate.

Days 03 Sightseeing in the Vienna City

1– Schönbrunn Palace

A few kilometers west of the center of Vienna, the spectacular Schönbrunn Palace  is one of the Highlight of Vienna. The more modest Baroque Schönbrunn Palace with its 1,441 rooms and apartments was built between 1696 and 1730, and soon after onverted into a residence for Maria Theresa, the only female Habsburg ruler.

The Imperial Apartments

While only 40 of the Schönbrunn Palace’s 1441 rooms are open to the public, they are enough to provide visitors with a sense of its magnificence. Only accessible as part of a guided tour, the rooms on display include a number in the palace’s West Wing, home to the sumptuous Apartments of Emperor Franz Joseph and his wife Elisabeth.

2– Tiergarten Schönbrunn (Schönbrunn Zoo)

The zoo inside the vast Schönbrunn park dates back to Francis I’s menagerie founded in 1752, making it the oldest zoo in the world. It is home to more than 750 species, as diverse as giant pandas, orangutans, Siberian tigers, African elephants, cheetahs, koalas, penguins, and Arctic wolves.

3–  Schönbrunn Palm House

The Great Palm House was built between 1880 and 1882 on behalf of Emperor Franz Joseph I and designed by court architect Franz Xaver Segenschmid from the Ignaz Grid company. With a total area of ​​ 2,500 m², it was the largest glass house in the world at the  time of its opening on July 19, 1882.

Day 04 Treasures of the Habsburgs

1– Kunsthistorisches Museum

is housed in a magnificent building created expressly to show off the tremendous art collections of the Hapsburg royal family. The museum’s specialties are late Italian Renaissance, Baroque, and Flemish painting, but the collections go far beyond those with classical Greek and Roman art and Egyptian collections. Guided tours are available. Worth a visit is

the museum café, especially for its atrium setting and tall, elegantly decorated walls and ceiling

2– Imperial Treasury Vienna

The Imperial Crown of the Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation is the highlight of the collection: Created in the second half of the 10th century, it was used to crown the empire’s emperors. The second important crown in the Imperial Treasury is the Austrian imperial crown. It was made in 1602 as a private crown for Emperor Rudolf II. (1552-1612). From 1804, it acted as the crown of the newly created Austrian Empire.

3– Vienna City walking Tour

The heart and soul of Vienna (Wien) is by far its beautiful Old Town which is filled with historic sights. there is diversity to entertain all travelers.  Maybe the best thing about our free Vienna walking tour is that most of Old Town is very compact and easily seen on foot. Order a strong famous Viennese coffee with cream or traditional chocolate cake in one of the traditional Viennese cafe. Vienna’s coffee culture, that has been brewing amidst the whispers of its smoky coffeehouses, has given birth to more coffee variations than anywhere else on the planet.

Day 05 Departure To Berlin

Free Leisure time before departure, Pick up from the Hotel and Private Transfer to the “Vienna International Airport” Welcome to Germany, Berlin. Pick up from the Airport and Private Transfer to the Hotel for Check-in. Rest of the day free at leisure.

Day 06 Berlin City Tour

Berlin Museum Island:

The Museum Island in Berlin-Mitte forms a masterpiece of art with five world-renowned museum buildings (Pergamonmuseum, Neues Museum, Altes Museum, Bode Museum, Alte Nationalgalerie), which are assembled in an extraordinary ensemble. The Staatliche Museen zoo Berlin (State or national museums) in Berlin have some of the world’s largest and most important collections of art and cultural objects.

The Bode Museum is one of the group of museums on the Museum Island in Berlin. It was designed by architect Ernst von Hine and completed in 1904. Originally called the Kaiser-Friedrich-Museum after Emperor Frederick III, the museum was renamed in honor of its first curator, Wilhelm von Bode.

The Alte Nationalgalerie in Berlin is an art gallery showing a collection of  Neoclassical, Romantic, Biedermeier, Impressionist and early Modernist  artwork, part of the Berlin National Gallery.

Day 07 Berlin City Walking Tour

1– Berlin TV Tower construction of the Berlin TV Tower began in Alexanderplatz in August 1965. Its aim was to provide reliable radio and television reception. Visitors are taken by high-speed elevators up to the Panoramic floor, where they are able to look over the city from an unrivalled vantage point.

3–Brandenburg Gate The Brandenburg Gate is one of Berlin’s most important monuments – a landmark and symbol all in one with over two hundred years of history. A former symbol of the divided city,
